Privacy Policy
What data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: 2026
01Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the Sidra Chain community airdrop site ("we," "our," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website or participate in the airdrop. We keep data collection to the minimum required to operate the airdrop, and we never sell your data to third parties.
02Information we collect
Information you provide
- Email address. Used to register for the airdrop, send you eligibility updates, and provide a link to the claim portal.
- Wallet address. Used to determine the destination for your 3000 SDA allocation. Collected only when you login your desired SDA wallet on the claim portal.
- Verification data. If you complete KYCPort verification, identity data is handled by the KYCPort provider under their own privacy terms. We only receive a pass/fail status, not the underlying documents.
Information collected automatically
- Log data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp, pages viewed) for security and abuse prevention.
- Cookies and local storage. Minimal storage to remember your session state and theme preference. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies.
03How we use your information
- To verify your eligibility for the airdrop.
- To send you the claim portal link and status updates.
- To allocate your 3000 SDA to the correct wallet address.
- To detect and prevent fraud, sybil attacks, and abuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the airdrop.
04What we never collect
- Your seed phrase or recovery words.
- Your private key.
- Any payment information (there are no payments).
- Any data from your wallet beyond the public address.
If any page claims to be part of this airdrop and asks for one of the above, it is an impersonation attempt. Report it through the channels on our Contact Us page.
05Legal basis for processing
Where required by applicable law, we process your data under the following legal bases:
- Consent. For sending you email updates. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
- Contract. For performing the airdrop you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests. For fraud prevention, security, and abuse detection.
- Legal obligation. For tax, anti-money-laundering, and other compliance requirements.
06How we protect your data
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all connections to the site.
- Encryption at rest for stored registration data.
- Access controls limiting who within our team can see user data.
- Regular reviews of our security posture and dependencies.
No system is perfectly secure. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
07Data retention
We retain your email address and registration data for as long as needed to operate the airdrop and to comply with legal obligations. When the airdrop concludes and no legal obligation requires further retention, we delete or anonymize your data.
08Third-party sharing
We share data only in these cases:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us run the airdrop (email delivery, hosting, fraud detection), bound by contracts to use the data only for that purpose.
- KYCPort. If you verify your identity, the KYCPort provider processes the necessary data as described in their own privacy policy.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- Business transfers. If the site is transferred to another operator, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We never sell your data.
09International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
10Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@sidrachain-airdrop.com. We respond within a reasonable timeframe and always within any period required by law.
11Children
This site is not intended for anyone under the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover we have, we will delete it promptly.
12Cookies and tracking
We use only the minimum storage required to run the site:
- Session storage. To keep you logged in during your visit.
- Local preference. To remember your theme choice.
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party trackers.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
